Our agency is focused exclusively on the creation of high quality audio content. While there are numerous one-stop shops out there, we’re focused on one thing: making your podcast sound great.
Why a podcast agency?
So far, the year 2021 holds the record for total hours listened to podcasts -- 15 BILLION compared to 12 billion (total) just two years ago. In fact, it is estimated that there will be 100 million podcast listeners in the United States alone by 2024 (source). As an effective communications medium, podcasting has never been more popular with no signs of slowing down.
There are literally tons of podcasts out there to subscribe to and enjoy. But there’s one huge problem: much of it doesn’t sound good.
Why do many podcasts sound bad?
Many aspiring podcasters are under the impression that purchasing a decent microphone is all that’s needed to have a great sounding podcast. While having solid recording hardware is a critical part of any podcast production, knowing what to do after you’ve recorded the audio is just as important.
In fact, it’s possible to use inexpensive microphones (yes, even cell phone headsets) and still have a good-sounding podcast if you know how to properly edit and mix each audio track.
Getting the audio mix to sound good is only part of the equation. Editing each track can be a time consuming process. Podcasts that aren’t edited with careful attention to detail can sound choppy and uneven. It’s important for the listener that podcast audio be edited in the same way you’d edit a movie: to clarify the narrative and tell a compelling story.
In addition to having a proper audio mix, no podcast is complete without unique, high quality music. Many podcasts are fraught with bland, uninteresting, canned-sounding music.
That’s why we focus hard on quality. It’s our belief that anyone with a story to tell can have an incredible sounding podcast.
