Our Podcast Editing Process
Our Podcast Production Process
-
1. Kick-off Workshop
Let’s get on the same page with a brief discussion about your podcast: what it is, what your goals are, and the challenges you’ve experienced producing audio in the past. We’ll use this time to make sure we’re aligned and primed to meet your expectations and release deadlines.
-
2. You record your audio.
Whether you’re recording a Skype call at your kitchen counter or utilizing time in a professional studio space, there’s no shortage of ways to record great sounding audio. We can provide recommendations on how to get started, but we’ll leave you to the recording methods that work best for you and your podcast.
-
3. Send us your recorded audio tracks.
Our team will dig right in to the meticulous work of editing and equalizing — and if we’re composing music for you — creating the right soundscape for your podcast to sound stand out and sound amazing.
-
4. Review the edited episode.
Before we finalize the mix, we’ll provide you with a draft version of your podcast episode to review for any major changes that need to be made.
-
5. Master the audio.
Our team creates a final, broadcast-ready version of the episode called a “master”. This is the file we’ll provide to you for upload to your podcast feed.
-
6. Release it!
Using your favorite podcasting platform, upload the master file and release the episode to your listeners.
